The village of Cropthorne is very
lucky to have such a well-kept secret as The New Inn and
since taking it over in October 2004, Andy & Annie haven't
looked back. They have transformed the pub, which had struggled
in the past, into a cosy village inn where you are always
guaranteed a warm welcome. While Andy oversees the kitchen
as Head Chef, Annie takes care of front of house.
With an emphasis firmly placed on using fresh local produce
& suppliers, The New Inn prides itself on serving food 7
days a week and is delighted to have been included in The
Good Pub Guide for the 4th year running. They have also
been awarded the Cask Marque for their real ales for the
past two years.
A quick glance at the menu tells you that it's a little
more than just your average pub grub even though you'll
still find traditional dishes like Pie of the Day or New
Inn Fish & Chips. Other choices include Fillet of Seabass,
Classic Chicken Caesar Salad or Pork Tenderloin stuffed
with boursin and there is plenty more on offer, why not
have a look at our menu
to see what else is available.
There are also ciabatta or multigrain rolls available at
lunchtimes as well as daily specials and a traditional roast
is served on Sundays 12 to 4pm.
Whether you are after a quick pint, just a snack at lunchtime
or a candlelit dinner, The New Inn can accommodate you.
The log fire is always lit in the winter, the large beer
garden is a great bonus in the summer and there is also
ample parking.
